Security Bank Philippines is a bank. There’s the usual security bits. Their :sparkles: brand new app :sparkles: is so secure it’s unusable!

  1. Refuses to run on Android phones with Developer Mode (not even only ADB) enabled.
  2. Locked me out of my account after only two failed OTP attempts, where their web form automatically submits the code when you fill out all six digits. God help you if you make two typos in a row for the last digit.

Other major legacy banks do similar stupid things. I don’t know which bank to go anymore. Then there are banks I absolutely will not patronize, even with a ten foot pole.
